“Unlike Other Politicians, I Am Concerned About The Economy, Security” – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday, April 15, 2018, met with British Prime Minister, Theresa May, in 10 Downing Street, London, assuring her that while other Nigerian politicians are already pre-occupied with politics of 2019, he is not bothered by it because he wants to focus on security and economy.
The president, who declared his intention to re-contest the presidential post last week Monday, said: “We have elections next year, politicians are already pre-occupied with the polls, but I am bothered more about security and the economy.”
He recalled that those were the issues he campaigned with, stressing: “We campaigned on three major issues, to secure the country, revive the economy and fight corruption.”
